Artist in Residence: Meryl Smith

From April 7th- May 8th New York sculptor extraordinaire Meryl Smith will be moving to the 30 Days studio. That’s right, the dynamo responsible for creating the the beautiful paper rats seen throughout I’m Here will be shacking up with us for thirty days. Using nothing but genuine NY rubbish she hoping to create the most fantastic sculpture (or sculptures) imaginable. Catch is, she needs your help. That gum wrapper in your pocket, that old receipt in your wallet, your left over tax forms, she wants ‘em. So if you were thinking of cleaning out your purse between now and then let Meryl do it for you and you can be a part of the art.
